M. Beard跟里面出现的Wiseman合作编译了约瑟福斯关于卡里古拉之死的内容，跟G. Woolf以及C. Edwards（好气质！）都是老相识了，Hurst的罗马广场考古之前也只是在书上了解到，现在看他在现场演示卡里古拉“廊腰缦回”的宫殿更有感觉。Beard的叙事技巧一仍往常。
